Mentorship Guided by Real Onboard Operational Experience
Orion Maritime Coaching was founded by a team of active seafarers who recognized a critical flaw in modern maritime education: the separation of exam preparation from shipboard operations.
Our objective is not simply to help deck and engine candidates secure a passing grade from the MCA or Indian MMD examiners. Our primary goal is to nurture their professional confidence, situational analysis capacity, and practical mastery of safety regulations.
We believe that a certificate of competency is not just a piece of paper, but a solemn trust. Our trainees are groomed to enter shipboard bridges and engine control rooms with the poise, vocabulary, and expertise expected of modern shipboard leaders.
Our programs are structured to cater to both departments (Deck and Engine) across various grades of license examinations.
Candidates preparing for MCA and Indian MMD oral examinations for OOW (Second Mate), Chief Mate, and Master Mariner certificates.
Engine officers preparing for MMD Class 4, Class 2, and Class 1 oral examinations, emphasizing plant management and marine safety regulations.
Merchant navy cadets seeking solid foundation coaching and professional mentorship to begin their operational sea career confidently.
We take pride in our mentors who are actively sailing on container ships, tankers, and bulk carriers in international trades.
